Glossary of terms

Clicks
How many times a link within an e-mail has been followed.

CTR (Click Through Rate)
The number of contacts opening a link within the e-mail expressed as a percentage of those who opened the e-mail.

List
The directory of e-mail addresses to which campaigns are sent.

Open rate
The percentage of e-mail recipients opening the e-mail they receive.

Recipients
How many contacts have received an e-mail campaign

Viewed
How many contacts have viewed the e-mail. This figure includes views of the HTML version and the online version - accessed through a link within the mail - of the e-mail only. Views of text only versions cannot be monitored, and this is also true of recipients who don't download images.
